Sound Escape (WIP)
Developed in collaboration with Duke Hospital, this serious game explores how people with hearing loss or cochlear implants may experience sound. Players control an alien cat exploring a human home, gradually learning unfamiliar sounds through environmental interaction and puzzle-solving. The game uses a cozy 2D visual style while its sound design is informed by real patient experiences to simulate initially harsh and uncomfortable audio that becomes clearer as the character adapts. As the Character Technical Artist, I built the playable cat character from scratch and implemented its 2D animation and gameplay-ready character setup in Unity.
