During my internship at Veewo Games, I created production ready pixel animations for enemies and playable characters in Neon Abyss 2, working across both animation production and in-engine implementation.
Character Animation
-
I created and polished pixel based character animations for multiple enemy types and player characters, with a focus on clear silhouettes, readable combat actions, and timing that worked effectively in fast paced gameplay.
-
My animation work included movement, attacks, reactions, and other character specific actions. The animations shown below are production assets created during my internship and are used in the shipped game.
Unity Implementation
-
Beyond creating the animation assets, I also integrated my finished work into the existing Unity project.
-
During production, placeholder and rough animation assets were already being used to establish character behavior and gameplay timing. I replaced these temporary assets with final production animations, cleaned up outdated animation related assets and references, and integrated the polished animation clips into the existing character setups.
-
I worked within the established Unity animation framework to ensure that the final assets maintained the intended gameplay behavior, timing, and visual readability after implementation.
